Hi my lovies! How are you today? How is your day going?I thought to share a product I don’t really use or like and I kinda’ regret buying. I blame Youtube for this because Youtube made me buy it, but i blame myself also because I didn’t made my research.

It was my first high end makeup product, too bad that now is not my cup of tea anymore. At first when I got it I was so excited, and now, I…

When we’re told that we can’t, we all have the same answer: WATCH ME !

One of my passion is doing nail art, but I also love doing my makeup. Almost three years maybe four ago , I started watching Youtube, especially makeup gurus and some of them  have a big influence on people. They speak from the bottom of their hearts and they made me realize that new things are good. Soo, two years ago when I…

Last Manicure from February Hi lovies, how are you? Here we are with another month flying by and my last manicure from February.

Such a long name for a manicure, but I quite like it. Sooo, today I want to share with you the steps for this elegant gradient nail art. Level achievement : Medium. If you recreate the manicure let me know by using the hashtag #blogbykoko on Instagram!

Let’s get into it!

  1. Start with clean nails.
  2. Apply your base coat. I use Orly Bonder basecoat because it makes your nail polish to stick better and to last much longer.img_20170219_183252
  3. Add a layer of nail polish. I recommend apply one coat of white nail polish color before any gradient because it shows the real pigmentation of any polish you put on top of it ! (I used OPI Alpine Snow)img_20170219_183350
  4. Dab two colors of your choice over your white . You will need a makeup sponge, two or even three or four of your favorite colors. I used Kiko nail polishes Nr.346-Light green and Nr.347-Dark green. Take your makeup sponge, add the nail polish onto it overlapping the colors and add also the white used previously. Now start dabbing onto your nails until you see a nice gradient. Don’t worry if it doesn’t look perfect , it will be much better after you add your next step.
  5. Apply a layer of Fast Drying Top Coat. My favorite is Seche Vite. And you will end up with a beautiful gradient, but we have a few steps to do it more classy.
  6. Add your stamping design. I used a beautiful stamping plate from Moyra-11 Damask Drapery and also the Moyra stamping polish Nr.09-Gold, the Big Blue Stamper and any nail scraper or credit card .
  7. The last step is adding the Glossy Top Coat. Apply overflowing your brush, barely touching the design so that your nail stamp doesn’t smudge.

I hope you followed the steps and your many looks great . Check out my Instagram for more nail art pictures!

Green Damask Drapery Gradient Nails Such a long name for a manicure, but I quite like it. Sooo, today I want to share with you the steps for this elegant gradient nail art.

Hi there, I did this mani a week ago and today I was thinking to share with you what I used in order to achieve this cute manicure.

  1. Start with clean nails.
  2. Apply your base coat. I use Orly Bonder basecoat because it has a rubberized texture and makes your nail polish to stick better and to last much longer. img_20170219_183252
  3. Apply two thin coats of nail polish of your choice. I used a white color (by OPI Alpine Snow) on my accent nails and a gold holographic nail polish on the other nails (by Moyra Nr.252)
  4. Apply a layer of Fast Drying Top Coat. I love the Seche Vite Top Coat. It’s really fast drying and it has a shiny finish.img_20170219_183236 .
  5. Add your Nails stamp. I used the  Born Pretty Store stamping plate BP-91 , big blue nail stamper and a nail scraper or an old credit card if you want.
  6. And the last step is adding the Glossy Top Coat. Quick tip: Add a little more than usual dragging the brush lightly, barely touching the design so that your nail stamp doesn’t smudge.

And that’s it. I hope you enjoyed! Let me know in the comments below what do you want to see next and check out my social media for more pictures.2017-02-18-1
